Sycuan Golf Resort at 3007 Dehesa Road, El Cajon, California.

The golf course is challenging and in decent shape, and the hotel rooms are spacious and clean. That being said, I couldn't give it more stars because the hotel requires a hefty deposit ($100-150 per day!) on top of the daily charge for the room. We were there for 3 days, and had to pay a $300 deposit. It wasn't disclosed when the reservations were made, only when we arrived and checked in. Granted, it will be refunded, but still seems a bit much.
